Call me backImpaired Credit
Impaired credit simply means that you have a poor credit repayment record. If you are trying to find a mortgage but are aware that you have had problems in the past with your credit history then you may need to apply for an adverse credit mortgage.
How we can help
The fact that you have adverse credit does not mean that you cannot get a mortgage. There are lenders who specialise in mortgage lending to people with adverse credit. Please be aware that your mortgage options may be more limited than if you have a great credit score, and that interest rates may be higher if you have a bad credit rating, but adverse credit mortgages are available.
The good news is that by making regular and timely repayments to adverse mortgages, you can over time repair your credit history and restore your good credit. If you make your repayments on time, they will count towards your credit history as a positive, and slowly you will become more creditworthy. Our advisors will use their skills to search the market and give you an honest appraisal of your options. We won't entice you with unobtainable rates that are advertised on comparison websites, but we will use our knowledge of the mortgage market to try and find the best deal for your circumstances.
If you'd like to talk to us about getting a mortgage, fill out the form below. Otherwise give us a call and speak directly to an advisor on 0115 960 1279 or visit any one of our Nottingham branches in Arnold, Beeston or Mapperley.
This mortgage site is only directed at persons within the UK. Please note: Mortgage applications are subject to status. The rates detailed are for illustrative purposes only and may not be applicable for your circumstances. Our advisors will be able to discuss the full range of products on offer that suit your criteria.
Your initial consultation is obligation fee. You can choose how you pay for mortgage advice. Pay a fee, usually 1% of the loan amount or we can accept commission from the lender. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
